The design process

Ready to order a unique birth announcement for your little one? Here's how it works:

  • Contact me at least 3 months before your due date to set up an appointment to discuss the design. Meetings can either be on the phone or in person within Amsterdam.
  • During the meeting we discuss your wishes and you share with me the important details like: name of your little one (if you have one already! If not we can always use a 'working title'), any text you'd like to have on the card, your address etc.
  • Within 3 weeks after our meeting I will send you the first design. After that there will be 3 feedback rounds to end up at exactly the design you were dreaming of.
  • Once we settle on the final design we can get a proof card printed to see the design on paper. Costs of a proof card are €15,- due to set up costs of the printer.
  •  And then we wait.. Once your little one is born you share with me the birth details and I will send you the final digital design within 1 working day. After your final approval the design goes to press!
  • With 5 working days, and often a little sooner, after your approval you will receive the birth announcements.
