Workshop Watercolour Illustration- 19 September 2021
Let me introduce you to the magical world of watercolour! In this workshop you will learn the basics of watercolour, with an introduction into colour theory, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, and a special focus on watercolour illustration and layering. At the end of the workshop you will have a complete illustration of an Amsterdam Canal house and you will know how to make your own illustrations.
This workshop is suitable if you’ve never touched a paint brush or watercolours before, or if you have tried watercolour painting before and want to improve your technique.
Included in the workshop are:
– Professional watercolour pigments
– 2 synthetic kolinsky brushes
– Cold pressed watercolour paper
– Drinks and snacks
The workshop takes place in my studio near the Amstel station in Amsterdam, from 2:00 until 5:00pm.
There are 12 seats available per workshop. Sign up by selecting the number of seats you would like to reserve below. After your payment comes through you will receive all the details about the workshop, how to get to the studio and where to park if you’re coming by car.
The workshop is completely covid proof, attendees have set seats and the studio is spacious and well ventilated. If you are feeling unwell on the day of the workshop you will receive a voucher for an upcoming workshop. There’s a minimum of 6 attendees, should not enough people sign up for the workshop I will contact you the week before to reschedule.
