International birth announcement for Gabriel

I love it when a card really tells a unique personal story, and this on certainly does!

Gabriel has a Dutch mum and a Colombian dad, so the globe on the front of the card combines elements of Amsterdam and Bogota, all hand drawn and then digitised.

The birth announcement was printed on heavy, eco friendly textured paper. The mustard and grey-green colours make it a sweet but also bold card, and the kraft envelope goes perfectly with it!

International birth announcement for Rosa

For Rosa I designed a unique birth announcement that incorporates her international roots. Around the globe on the card San Francisco, Amsterdam and Peru are pictured.

The card was printed in a minty green colour, and her name in a gold sparkly ink.

Happy birth announcement for Siem and Ries

For twins Siem and Ries I made a birth announcement inspired on the monkeys that adorn the wall in their nursery.

The illustration is all hand drawn, then digitalised. The tree comes back on the backside of the card, and the card was printed on a beautiful structured paper. The Japanese envelopes complete the picture.

Amsterdam birth announcement for Jurre

Amsterdam, Jurre's city of birth, takes the lead in his birth announcement. The design is all hand drawn and then digitalised. The structured paper combined with the mustard yellow and minty green colours make this a cute but bold birth announcement.

International birth announcement for Brigitte

Brigitte was born in Paris. Her dad is a real Parisian, her mum is from Amsterdam, so I incorporated these 2 cities in the design for her birth announcement. The card includes a flying pig instead of the typical Dutch stork, because her mum is somewhat obsessed with pigs! I wrote Brigitte's name in pointed pen calligraphy and then digitalised it.

The matching metallic pink envelopes, that I addressed in calligraphy, were the icing on the cake!
