I work with a set fee for designing a custom birth announcement, plus a low amount per card to cover the paper- and printing costs. For example: 100 bespoke, flat birth announcements plus envelopes cost €300 (designfee) + 100x €0,80 (paper- and printing costs) + 100x €0,60 (envelopes) = €440,-.

Seen an existing design on my website that you would like to use? For an existing design the designfee is only €150, so 100 cards with envelopes will only cost €290 in that case.
